What is Smart Money?
Smart Money refers to capital managed by large professional market participants: banks, funds and other institutional investors.
To open and close large positions, they need liquidity — enough orders on the other side of the trade. Smart Money Concepts therefore pays particular attention to areas where other participants’ orders and stops may cluster.
The idea is to understand where buying and selling interest is concentrated and how the balance between them changes. This involves analysing market structure, liquidity, imbalances and price reactions at significant areas.
What the bot looks for
FVG · Imbalance
An imbalance between buyers and sellers. One side acted so strongly that price moved rapidly. A return to this area may offer an entry opportunity.
Liquidity
A concentration of orders and stops. These areas may attract price because they offer volume for executing trades.
Sweep · Liquidity sweep
After orders and stops are triggered, the bot looks for signs that the move is losing momentum and price may reverse.
BOS · Break of structure
Helps assess which side is currently stronger and whether price movement supports the direction of a trade.
Why the bot waits for confirmation
One clue alone does not make a trade. Polveka looks for at least three confirmations on timeframes from 15 minutes to one day. Each signal includes entry, stop, target and reasoning, with potential reward at least three times the risk.
Polveka uses these principles to find possible entries and check them against multiple confirmations. The bot cannot see funds’ hidden orders or know their intentions: it draws conclusions from available market data. Confirmations help filter trades, but do not eliminate losses.
